For this school assignment, we were tasked with developing the cover art work for an original children’s book. Are Red Feathers Better? follows Duckling and Cardinal, best friends that spend their days near The Pond learning, laughing, and playing together. But when fall comes, Duckling learns that he must leave his friend to fly south for the winter. Duckling doesn’t want to leave his friend, so he decides to find out what makes Cardinal special so that he can change those things about himself, and hopefully stay with his friend throughout the winter.
